Each actuator is laser etched to order, allowing light to pass cleanly through the engraved areas when paired with an illuminated Contura V switch body. This creates sharp, night-readable legends that remain crisp over time with no fading, peeling, or worn-off printing — unlike surface-printed labels.

What's Included

This product includes the rocker switch actuator (cover) only. The switch body and illumination color are determined by the Contura V rocker switch body you select separately. Every actuator is made to order with fast turnaround and no minimum quantities.

Can I design and preview my actuator before ordering?

Yes. Use our online customization tool to choose your color, icon(s), text lines, and layout, and preview exactly how your actuator will look before you order.

Is the symbol or text printed or engraved?

Neither — it's laser etched. The laser removes the top coating instead of printing on it, so the symbols and text are recessed into the material rather than sitting on the surface, giving you a legend that won't peel, fade, or wear off.

Will the text and symbols light up at night?

Yes, as long as you pair the actuator with an illuminated Contura V switch body (sold separately). Light passes through the etched areas so your icons and text stay readable in the dark.

Will this fit my switch body?

The Contura V actuator is compatible with most Contura V-style rocker switch bodies on the market, so it works with the majority of switch bodies already available for boats, RVs, trucks, and airplanes.

What exactly is included?

This product includes one (1) custom laser-etched actuator only. The switch body and illumination color are determined by the Contura V switch body you select separately.

What's the difference between the vertical and horizontal layout?

In the vertical layout, you can add up to 2 custom icons/symbols along with 5 fully customizable text lines. In the horizontal layout, you can choose between three setups: text on the left with an icon on the right, text on the right with an icon on the left, or centered text with an icon on each side.
